the whole season has been a disaster. really disappointed after a killer debut season.

 

Started watching Physical on Apple the other night, it’s good so far but I’m gonna have to take it at a much slower pace haha. Four episodes left me completely drained, the constant self deprecating narration is effective but emotionally exhausting. Byrne and Scovel shine as brightly as always though and the score is super fun

 

New season of Dave has been great.

There's some discourse on the Woodstock '99 doc and the excess of topless women/groping it shows. I didn't think about it at the time, but I kind of agree - one or two examples of the gross behavior should have been enough. It felt like it had to show something like that every 10-15 minutes to either hammer the point home or keep peoples' attention. Like, we were warned about the descriptions of sexual assault that occurred, but not really how many examples it was going to show.

 

yeah, i understand there were a lot of naked people at the festival, but we didn't need to see boobs and dicks every couple minutes in that doc

Agreed. On top of that, for people that have experienced this kind of trauma, it's a lot to take. Not that I guess I would expect Bill Simmons to realize that, but come on.

 

yeah like a dozen women were sexually assaulted so I'm wary if the vibe is just damn this was crazy and got out of control

Okay, yeah, so uh, I just finished season one of Infinity Train, and it was incredible. Whoever said you think I'd like it, you were right

 

I have one or two left but I love this show

 

It’s so impressive! They’re basically making two shows at once and they weave together seamlessly. I can’t stop thinking about it

 

I honestly am so impressed ever single time they switch between the two versions, but the whole room is still the same, only changing the cameras and lighting really

Yeah, Kevin Can F Himself absolutely rules.

 

I have a lot of feelings about that Woodstock 99 doc and about zero of them are good. Some because of the content which is upsetting, and some with the way the doc was made.

 

Think I'm gonna watch this this week now
