it's a small venue for The Offspring.

They're headlining a radio show here, and granted Chevelle and P.O.D. are opening, but it's at a 20k cap ampitheatre.

The Offspring, at best, can do 2-3k theaters in the US at this point. I believe they are much bigger in the UK/Europe.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

The Offspring can do amphitheaters if the support/openers are right. Otherwise, yeah. Oh their own they really only do bigger theaters now

P.O.D. over The Offspring and Chevelle? Heh. Never change, mf10.

I saw P.O.D multiple times during the Elements Of Southtown/Satellite/self-titled era. They were a nice postive-vibe band in that era. Shoutout to the Linkin Park/P.O.D/Hoobastank/Story Of The Year tour in winter 2004.

The Offspring are such a strange band to track their success. They had such massive singles right out the gate and then just completely moved into the radio/butt rock realm and became synonymous with it.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

P.O.D. was very sick when I saw them in 2018.

Do any bands with full US tours have a vaxx mandate policy for their shows?

Just curious why none of these large scale arena shows that are going on-sale have mandatory vaxx policies?

Unfortunately, when 30% of the population isn't planning on ever getting vaccinated, it isn't profitable to cut them from your customer base.

I still have no idea how tours are going to work...I mean, it's only going to take one crew member out of all the bands on the bill to come down with COVID and they're going to have to shut down shop for a week or two...not to mention, all the spread that will be occurring in the audience night in and night out.

Personally, I feel comfortable going to shows - and have many coming up - but there's going to be show cancellations/postponements quite frequently, I'd imagine. And many of them will be last minute.

So it’s ultimately profits over well-begging at this point? For some of these artists who come off holier than thou, this isn’t really a cute look.

As I understand it, the bands don't really get to make that call, the venues and promoters get final say.
