as someone that is currently playing through skyward sword, I’d also would rather be xenoblade chronicles rn lol

Xenoblade didn't hit for me either. It wasn't bad, just fine.

It's hard to make me want to invest 7429209272 hours into a JRPG these days.

 

I prefer 2 I think. It has lower lows than 1, but also higher highs.

 

No Skyward Sword slander in here. If you’re bad at the game just say it. We won’t judge you

I’m enjoying Skyward Sword. It’s more straightforward and less open world than others I’ve played, but still good.

Luckily I finished 2 before 1 and wanted something to sink some hours into. Will likely by SS almost immediately after.

 

Xenoblade Chronicles has too much going on for me. And not a lot of it is fun. Too many fucking pieces of gear to sort through and equip your party with. Too many skills/arts and all that shit. Too many side missions that are straight up pointless and boring. I probably spend more time in the menus than I do actually playing the game. And basically every battle was insanely easy or impossibly hard... no in between. I have no desire to play 2.

Well, that price is ridiculous and they should drop the price of the OG Switch.
