This was not coordinated. I kid you not, these were both released on the same day. And they are both fantastic. The one from Melton though, that annunciation is driving me crazy in the chorus. I get it, I get it, but why...

I feel the same way! He kills it, but I hate it when people go over the top with trying to mimic Tom's annunciations.

Haha. That's what kills me about some of these renditions. These guys are talented for sure, but at a certain point, the over-the-top Tom impression is the only thing that keeps it from just being "Here's a generic pop-punk/power chord version of [pop song]".

The first time I got to see Blink was on the first reunion tour in 2009. My early-highschool GF and I had bought tickets together months in advance and broke up literally like a few weeks before the show... But... we STILL went.. most mature breakup ever, but the power of blink being back pretty much made it tolerable.. We went with her little sister who stood in between us ahaha.

  13. I suppose I can remember when I was 10 years old in 1999 and discovering bands like RHCP or Metallica who had already been around for 2 decades. Not weird to think of kids just discovering Blink now!

First blink show was reunion tour 09, but I’ll never not be wishing I saw them in 04. My parents wouldn’t have let me go back then though. I’ll live through YouTube videos of fast paced Rock Show and untitled hits.

My first Blink show was the Blink/No Doubt co-headliner in 2004. So much fun.

I think my first blink show was with Alkaline Trio and Sun 41 in 2000 or ‘01 ish if I remember correctly. Super good show!

June 2001 at a radio festival show alongside Stone Temple Pilots and Janes Addiction. Then a month later on their own headliner with New Found Glory and Bodyjar opening.
