Yeah the first two Fear Street flicks have been a fun surprise. Looking forward to the third installment this weekend.

Sadie Sink (Ziggy) is great....really excited to see what she does in the future.

  5. Not exactly horror in the traditional sense, but Swallow was super unique, effective, and extremely compelling. Haven't seen anything quite like it.

  9. That movie is so much fun. Long Live Coscarelli.

Should do a Phantasm/Bubba Ho-Tep/John Dies at the End triple-feature one of these nights

  10. Enjoyed A Quiet Place in theaters but kind of soured on it with time. Is the second one worth watching now that it's on Paramount+?

  11. I'd say it's worth it. Even if you just watch the first few minutes, which is the best.

    Fear Street 1978 >>> 1994

I’m confused on why some of the actors/actress are playing different characters in 1666. Do they time travel? lol

watched The Incubus (1982) today, highly recommended for anyone that likes sort of genre bending within the horror genre. in large part it acts like a giallo film centered around demonic possession and visions of rape and murder. lots of cool camera work and effects. John Cassavetes plays a gloomy doctor that says the word sperm one million times. great movie even though it’s set in new england yet filmed in canada.

  14. This one was on my list to purchase from Vinegar Syndrome, but I believe the full film is available for free on YouTube. Excited to get to it now.

I liked the second one. At times I felt like they didn't give Emily blunt enough to do but I liked the addition of Cillian's character and I thought the kid actors did a great job

Fear Street: 1978 was a blast! Not sure which of the two I prefer, but had a great time with both.

    Bring on 1666

  21. Anyone watch Skull: The Mask? Looks like a very solid slasher on Shudder

What's the consensus on Leatherface? Just realized we have Peacock and it's on there and I always wanted to see it but wasn't excited by what I heard initially

Edit: Sorry i'm talking about the 2017 film directed by Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury

It’s not very good. I love the Texas chainsaw movies so I watched it and enjoyed it to an extent.
