yeah beachdude said so haha, I am expecting them to full Drab Majesty on this one, that clip has me hyped.

 

"The Gnashing" is fantastic. This album is gonna absolutely rule.

I'll have to listen to The Gnashing again tomorrow because I've played it twice and it didn't grab me at all. I think it might be the vocal.

The Gnashing is cool but I’m still much more impressed with Great Mass Of Color.

 

The song isn’t bad but I feel like I’ve heard before.

I think it’s much closer to classic Deafheaven instrumentally but with the new vocals. Not a bad thing but i too felt a sense of familiarity.

 

Vocals are…… interesting. I’m curious if vocals on the rest of the songs are more akin to this or Great Mass. I still overall liked it.
