Gourley & Rust starts their Jaws/shark season on July 16th!

 

that's the only thing that could ever get me to watch the Jaws sequels for the first time

 

That's perfect. Ill definitely jump in for that. Also, I know you were pretty active for mostly all of the JBB movies in season 3. I was in the beginning but I fell off and missed mostly all of them due to other commitments. I did however check out Day of the Beast this weekend. Which other ones would you recommend as highlights?

Funny you should ask because I just did a ranking of all the movies shown on The Last Drive-In (all three seasons, holiday specials, plus the marathon), which I'd be happy to post if people were interested. I'm thinking about writing a blog around it. But depending on your kind of horror, from season three specifically, I'd recommend Mandy, Audition/Class of 1984, Fried Barry, Mother's Day, Spookies/Train to Busan, and Things/Sledgehammer (so bad it's good SOV stuff).

I'm only missing Mandy and Fried Barry from your top 10 so that is where I'm gonna start. Also, I have seen all 6 that you missed and The Legend of Boggy Creek was really great. I feel like Joe Bob was really in his element talking about that one.

 

House of the Devil is one of my all time favorite horror flicks. Masterful.

hack-o-lantern that low should be a damn crime

 

Just watched It Follows for the first time since I watched it when was released like 6 or 7 years ago. This movie still holds and the soundtrack is killer. I still need to watch Robert David Mitchell’s other movie; Under The Silver Lake.

 

Under the Silver Lake is...not executed well, like at all, but so ambitious that it's worth the watch regardless

 

More of a Blood Harvest kind of guy tbh

 

Our local theater is getting Werewolves Within starting Friday! Stoked!

 

I can respect that
