Love the Jaws choice, I just watched 2 for the first time in like 18 years and am excited for an excuse to watch the rest again.

 

Open water is a fucking depressing movie that I have zero interest rewatching.

However I am loving Day of the Beast right now. This is awesome

 

Day of the Beast was amazing. Evilspeak was a little slow, but the effects and final act were very cool.

 

Finally starting Gourley & Rust. Starting with Jason X

 

Continuing today. Wow, what a fun hangout movie

 

Watching Motel Hell for the first time.

EDIT: I am almost too high for this.

 

Watching la llorona and it's not "scary" but ugh horror stuff targeting kids is like deeply upsetting. Tho as soon as I saw she was a social worker I was like yep sis is gonna be accused of child abuse herself lol predictable af.

 

Random but this movie has lot of creaking in the home and the creaking sounds are v relaxing like what I imagine ppl experience with amsr

 

Spiral (2019) for whatever reason I put off watching last year. This is low key triggering lol

 

Yeah that one's been on my list for a while, lemme know if it's worth it

 

Was very stoned last night and watched Evil Sofa on Prime. Had a blast! It very much reminded me of Jack Frost but with a budget. If you want a so bad it’s good b-horror movie, I can’t recommend it enough.

 

Overall, I have mixed thoughts on it but it’s worth a watch. It has a stellar score and good acting with some good scares. There were just too many concepts that weren’t well executed.

 

Rewatching Bone Tomahawk and somehow I’m just now realizing that Richard Jenkins plays Chickory. I’m wondering how close Kurt Russel filmed this and The Hateful Eight together. Almost exact same hair and beard style. Plus a lot of the things he says I can absolutely John Ruth saying.
