Fallen Kingdom was at least totally unhinged enough with its wild lore and world building that it was somewhat interesting sit through.

 

FK is bottom 5 worst movies I’ve seen in a theater

 

I had a blast watching Jurassic World in the theater. I found myself irritated the entire time during Fallen Kingdom, but it's probably equal in quality. It just happened to come second and the flaws were more evident as a result.

 

this is true of both of them imo, but especially fk

 

The only thing I remember about Fallen Kingdom is that they were auctioning off dinosaurs to rich people

 

the little girl is a clone and has dinosaur DNA!

 

Fallen Kingdom had a few interesting shots, and it least it was taking the series in a slightly different direction. Jurassic World is a 2 hour commercial for sequels, Margaritaville, and that car when the kid literally says "want to see something cool?" right before it pulls into frame.

 

Oh god I hated that part lol

 

Completely forgot the little girl was a clone lol.

 

Wasn’t there a crying Stegosaurus consumed by flames?

 

And dinosaurs being auctioned for…. The low millions

 

I kinda liked how it became a slasher movie at the end

 

i wish they had reallyyyy leaned into the slasher vibe and made the entire movie like that. gimme a rated R JP slasher movie!

 

Neither film were good, but Falling kingdom fucking sucked

I’m cautiously optimistic for the new one, but what are the chances that the 3rd in the trilogy is going to be the best one. That short they released was pretty cool though

 

Fallen Kingdom is one of the worst movies i’ve ever seen. Felt like the most expensive SyFy Channel film ever made.

 

the one thing i'll defend about FK is that i don't recall it being as mean spirited as its predecessor. certainly no zara scene to my knowledge

 

The only part of either "Jurassic World" I enjoyed was making my friends laugh when Pratt and Co. are sailing away from the the burning island and the dinosaur watches them go, I said "Bye Buddy! Good luck finding your real dad!" and felt reeaall proud of myself for that joke.

That said, both of those movies can burn in Hell.

 

World is funny because there is an underlying meta commentary on how modern blockbusters are just more superfluous remakes of better movies, but by the end it kind of feels like that was unintentional.

 

The T-Rex entering at the end of JW1 was dope at least

 

When I was a kid and saw it in theaters, the entire crowd erupted in cheers and hollering, Arsenio Hall style pumping their fists.

 

Damn how young are you that you saw JW as a kid??

 

I assume he meant Jurassic Park based on the Arsenio Hall reference.

Do people under 30 know who he is?

 

Yes I know he meant Jurassic Park. Was just joking because the comment he quoted was talking about JW.

Perhaps those under 30 know Arsenio Hall from best from Sandy Wexler.
