RELEASE THE SONG JACK

 

I personally never understood a band performing on a late night show, where people may not be familiar with their work, they hear the song and like it, but when they go to find it it's not available to stream or purchase. Just feels like a missed opportunity, some people won't venture further into the discography and just want that song, and then may just move on and forget about it completely.

 

For this very specific instance, I really don't think Bleachers is quite doing things for the streams at this point. Jack is uber-successful and unlike most other bands, doesn't quite need his band's music to immediately like, take off. I think for him/them, it's probably more fun to have a song be exclusive to the show until the album is out despite losing out on potential streams for the studio version.

 

Tentatively just made plans to go to NJ for SOTC and I am puuuuuuumped. Not siked on having to get tickets secondary but it will be worth it.

 

That was so much fun, I'm already getting emotional about this album cycle. SOTC is going to be overwhelming. Out of everything I have lined up, they've got to be the live act I'm most anxious to see.

Just checked and I paid $56.60. Not a bad price at all, but for some reason I thought it was less than that. I'm scared to ask what they're going for now though

 

Good to know, thanks. They're like $150 on stubhub but I've seen people on instagram and r/bleachers trying to unload tix so I'm not too worried about finding something under a hundred between now and September. We'll see!

 

I always tell myself i'm not going to listen to the Bleachers singles on repeat and ruin the album and here i am streaming How Dare You Want More from Fallon 800 times
