Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 talks with Billboard about All Killer No Filler on its twenty years anniversary:

I’ve always felt somewhat, like, when that record had success — and maybe this is just my personality — but when it got as successful as it did, I had an immediate embarrassment. Almost like you become ashamed of your own success. In some way, I feel like it snuck through and everyone’s going to find out soon that it’s not that good. Like I sort of cheated my way, somehow. That’s kind of what I’ve always felt about that record. I think if I listen to it now as I’m older, maybe I can be a little bit more objective. But for the longest time, I thought it wasn’t a very good record.

Truly no better title for that record. An absolute classic.

Eh....it's a good album but definitely of it's time. I got a lot of play out of it at age 17 but at age 37 sounds a bit dated.

    Surprise, Surprise Prestigious

The two records that followed have more replay value to me than this one does. Chuck was a big moment of my teens.

    D'oh! Prestigious

Well, I did go back to listen to it for the 20th anniversary, and it is an awesome record, though not something I could blast out on a daily basis (being over 30). Nothing wrong with that though.

It's okay. Even artistic geniuses are wrong sometimes too.

Record still holds up amazingly today, in my opinion. I've always appreciated that album for not fixating on relationships for lyrics on every song unlike most pop-punk bands, and consequently has a lack of troubling lyrics by comparison to most of their contemporaries at the time.

Seems like a shitty attitude to have, as if he’s taken for granted all these years the fact that he got to work with the legendary Jerry Finn with him as producer on the album.

I actually commented before finishing reading the entire interview where Deryck woulf clarify what he meant. My bad.

    Damn I miss Jerry though.
