Not related but I figured they share the same fans. I recently finally checked out Closure In Moscow. My god

 

You guys ever feel this may be one of the best debut albums of the last 3-4 years? Cuz I really do.

 

Yeah, stupid strong record and I’m worried because they’ve been silent. I hope some label picks them up.

 

From what I understand they’re not really active rn. Despite this being their first full length they’ve actually been around quite a while, since 2012 at least, and I think some of them just got kinda tired of it. Not necessarily ruling out future activity but nothing’s on the horizon, although that’s the case with pretty much everyone due to the virus

 

I should add I think that’s part of why this record is as good as it is, I can’t think of any band of wide eyed 20 year olds with songwriting and instrumental performances this sharp and tasteful

I’m almost positive I saw these guys at a local show like 3-4 years ago... I know the name... think my bro and his band played a show with them.

Will be digging into this thread more tomorrow...

I saw Gates ln and talked for a few with Kevin and brought up this record since he produced it and he told me they are indeed working on new stuff. so

I heard this record again on Monday and it was wonderful. About to hit it's three year mark
