Hot take and nothing against her but I think I've hated most every movie I've seen with Amy Adams.

 

After looking at her filmography, I guess that's not totally fair. I like The Master, Her, Catch Me If You Can and Big Eyes but there are a lot that I truly despise.

 

Arrival is good

 

Arrival and Nocturnal Animals are both great. She’s had supporting roles in other things I’ve enjoyed over the years but have been too long since I’ve seen to vouch for now (Talladega Nights, Catch Me If You Can, etc)

 

Muppet Movie and Enchanted are a lot of fun.

 

Finished the 2017 Ducktales on Disney+ and it’s spectacular. If you have kids I can’t recommend it enough and if you don’t, it’s still an absolute joy to watch.

 

adams is great more often than she’s bad. she just picks shitty movies sometimes

Enjoyed the first two episodes of Hacks. Really fun stuff.

 

Why does Another Round not have its own thread? Wow, that ending was spectacular.

 

I majored in Creative Writing so I loved Arrival. How it dealt with language was fascinating, and also it's just a very endearing film overall.

Started, and finished Fleabag. I don’t know what to do with myself now. That was just spectacular. Absolutely deserving of all the hype.

Finished Your Honor. Glad it's over. Happy with the ending...for nefarious reasons . That's all I'll ever tell people.

 

Also finished The Good Lord Bird and it was fantastic. Really got a lot out of my free week trial of Showtime.
