Managed to win the Pokal with Hertha but ended up finishing second behind Bayern after a draw in the last game of the season. Lost the CL final too but took over from Ole who managed to finish 7th with an unbelievable United side.

This might be the best game I've had in FM

not going to lie I laughed uncontrollably when I got a penalty right before and right after half time n

 

Osimhen is putting up good figures per minutes played in real life, too.

 

He's been a tad disappointing. Second hat trick+ of the season, but has only scored in 3 games.

 

FPL has been a mixed bag so far this weekend. Used my wildcard after forgetting to do anything to my team in a month.

Got in Ederson, who doesn't play.

Swapped Cancelo who scored for Ruben Dias.

But I did bring in Harrison soooo...

 

I brought in Harrison too thank god, I had a similar disaster with Ederson but Harrison & Dallas (the best FPL player of the lot this season) have more than made up for the -8 I took

Obviously it’s hilarious and I loved it but Chelsea have been robbed by that decision

Chelsea playing long balls and losing every single one of them there at the end was unbelievably funny

 

As shit as VAR is, it’s still one of the funniest things in the world when it goes against a team you don’t like. Nothing better

 

That was so, so much more special with fans in the stadium.

 

Ahh well, can't win them all. Might need to try a bit harder than we did today in 2 weeks time though...

What did you think of Tuchel's decisions? Hindsight and all that, but I thought he was overly cautious and some of his selections (Ziyech, Azpilicueta RWB, Giroud ahead of Abraham in the squad again, Pulisic playing on the right when he came on) were head-scratchers.

 

My girlfriend's family are all Leicester fans (I now live two towns over from Leicester), and she is sat in a Leicester shirt having a wonderful time right now lol

I think Abraham is gone this summer as it appears Tuchel thinks he is not compatible with his style of play, but I think the other points you raise are all "par for the course" for CFC at the moment; the manager must have been told when he was hired that his priority is to sort out the defence, and I think they set up cautiously in a lot of games (even against some weaker opposition) which is why they keep a lot of clean sheets but at the same time don't really score that many. I think the main issue today was that they were just poor overall, and could not rise to the occasion, which is very concerning considering the run of important games we have coming up; if they do not show some fight they will get embarrassed by City in the next final.

 

Werner wasted 10+ chances in the ~60 I watched. He plays his heart out, but where’s the quality they need?

 

It is a bit frustrating for sure, but when he has one of those days infront of goal the wealth of talent around him need to step up - Mount, Ziyech, Pulisic, Havertz, CHO & Giroud all played a part but couldn't make anything happen - either creating for Werner or getting in goalscoring positions themselves. Shame, but that's the way it goes sometimes!

 

Leicester deserved to win based purely on Schmeichals stunning save to deny Mount just before the ruled out goal. A bit of a worldy to win it as well.
