Kinda heartbroken that Nate doesn't like Aim & Ignite "at all"

 

I haven’t gotten that far yet but the interview is making me pretty sad in general. While he’s upbeat, he seems really disillusioned and done with music, which is sad for someone so talented who has brought so much joy to literally millions of people.

 

Yeah it's definitely a bummer, but based on his comments I agree with his ranking except I would move his first to last haha.

Imagine never writing a follow up to Dog Problems or Some Nights. I wonder who he is excited to work with and I hope that it reinvigorates Nate’s love for crafting songs. Maybe eventually he’ll get into a room with the right people and make a new project again. I feel like a lot of artists go through phases of thinking they’re completely done and then move past it and come back with new stuff, so who knows.

 

it was a really nice interview, I totally understand everything he is talking about, but selfishly I want more. I believe someday he might, but I totally get being a songwriter for now, he has a happy family life it seems

 

Yeah I really wish he was still making music but I get it. Interested in whatever album he was talking about working on.

Also how do you not love Aim & Ignite?!

 

I’m not expecting anything but I’m sort of hoping that the format shows next year can be a spark to get him going.

I don't think they ever broke up per se jack just got famous and nate got over the music industry

Yeah I may be dating myself, but I feel like I remember there being something between Nate and Jack. One of them was ready to record the next record and the other dragging his feet.
