What exactly is going on in the middle of your records? It looks like a weight or something to keep the vinyl flat.

 

Correct. It’s a record weight.

It flattens any slight warp thus better engaging the stylus with the groves of the record, also eliminates vibrations that may occur.

There's a bit towards the end of The Internet really reminds me of the "I'm headsick, I'm drug bit, I'm loveless, I'm traffic" bit of that USERx song Andy featured on, (which is also a really great song).

This is funny you say this, because when I first heard it, I kept asking myself what the heavier part of the song reminded me of, and I couldn't figure it out. Then, on Saturday, my buddy texted me and said it sounded like Headsick and I was like, yeah, I think that's what I was thinking of. Even the guitar use as it starts to get heavier is very identical to Headsick.

Now, if I can only figure out what the 'Do you know what it means' part reminds me of.

 

Was there supposed that be one more song Andy did guest vocals on recently (besides Paris and Userx)?

 

I’ve been listening to this a lot but still don’t have my thoughts fully together. I do know that it’s a logical step from Black Mile. Love how the songs flow into each other a la Black Mile in many parts. Also impressed that they delivered another great closer with the Internet.
