Does it keep you in control
For you to keep her in a cage?
And you swear you didn't know
You said you thought she was your age
    How dare you?
    And how could you?
Will you only feel bad if it turns out
    That they kill your contract?

    Damn.

Lyrics are amazing...music and vocals sound like a b-side from Norman Fucking Rockwell

That was a cool video and the song vibes too. Sad girl indie folk vibes are really in right now, huh?

I could be way off here but it sounds like she's been listening to Phoebe lately, song gives off Phoebe vibes.

Definitely hear that, and now that you’ve said it a Billie/Phoebe tour would make a LOT of sense.

"Haunting" is the first word that came to mind. Love the song and the video is great too. Cool that she directed it.

  16. Really wasn't expecting something between Norman Fucking Rockwell and Punisher. This is good, I can't wait to see how she explores the sound.

    what a waste of wood

Anybody hearing a bit or re:stacks in this song?? Really really love the single. Got mad respect for her but was never able to fully latch on to her debut. Excited for this.

Absolutely beautiful song. I wonder if this song is about her ex-boyfriend since he dated her when she was underage.

So weird seeing her in something other than a gigantic baggy shirt / sweater but she looks cool as hell

  23. What a great article

    The spiciest meme

“People always say, ‘How would your younger self feel about you now?’ And that’s a good thing to think about in some cases, but I also think you shouldn’t try to be a person that your old self would like, and you shouldn’t try to be a person that your future self is going to be. You should be exactly who you feel like you are and want to be in that moment, otherwise you’re going to go insane.”

    Really dig this quote

  25. She is so wise and she has a great team and honestly most importantly a great family and support system that doesn’t look to exploit her fame
