When S/T came out I remember a review describing Money as them trying to replicate Fred and Matt's style from Louder Now but failing at it and yeah

 

Have you heard the Twenty Twenty Surgery demo (it was way better than the garbage, repetitive song that ended up on the album).

Anyway, my least favorite songs are definitely Money and Miami

 

yeah i've heard it, and it's way better, but that's not the version they released lol

 

Least favorite TBS songs for me are easily Holy Water, Faith and Who Are You Anyway.

 

Who Are You Anyway is ok at least right up until the chorus

 

Thats actually how I feel on a lot of the self titled songs. This, Since You're Gone and You Got Me all start off fine but then they lead to the most lazy choruses.

They both played the same day of Bamboozle 2011 and Adam joked onstage about starting a new band with Brian. As cool as that would be, I can not imagine it haha

 

honestly the blue channel deserves to be in this conversation lol

 

I genuinely don't dislike too many TBS songs but if I had to choose five songs I'd be fine with never hearing again it'd be:

Up Against
Who Are You Anyway
Since You're Gone
You Got Me
Like You Do

 

I've never heard this. It's less of a demo of Twenty Twenty Surgery and more a completely different song haha.

 

So funny that no one responded well to El Paso or Since You're Gone since those are the only S/T tracks I actually love.

Edit: Sad Savior is cool too. That’s it though.

 

Summer, Man is one of my all time favorite TBS songs ever. I also dig Swing even though it’s a little too repetitive but man... Fazzi’s guitar licks on it are dope.

 

I've been thinking about the TBS/Gatsbys American Dream show in May 2011 in upstate NY, shortly after John returned to the band. I drank a Four Loko right beforehand and had the time of my life. On the drive home we found out bin laden had been killed.

The notes in Holy Water are completely out of Adam's range. I can't get past it.

I dunno, the covers for Louder Now, New Again, and Title Wave are pretty good. The only one that's downright awful is the self-titled.
