Okay, but if I somehow confuse the two I am filing for divorce

 

Kinda thought I was the only one here who just doesn't like him. And I've tried a bunch, too.

 

I really liked Afraid of Ghost. Stay Gold just sounds the same. Like he took the exact same formula and repeated it over 10 songs. Granted, it works for a few songs. But by the time you get to the end you've already heard it.

 

post-hiatus FOB isn't bad but isn't nearly as good as IOH/FaD

 

I never would have thought FOB would sound like they do post-hiatus and be as big as they are but I think it mainly works, I think Patrick enunciating more is a good thing though I do kinda miss sometimes when he said stuff like bargained being boggined

 

I'm not a fan of post-hiatus FOB tbh

 

i like ABAP a lot but i couldn't get into SRAR at all. the Young Blood Chronicles were cool though

 

Enjoyed SRAR, ABAP does little for me.

 

SRAR and ABAP are fantastic and i cant wait to see where they go next. that said, IOH is my absolute favorite.

 

yeah IOH has been my second favorite album of all time since it was released (which will be 10 years ago next year... damn)

Hum Hallelujah and Youre Crashing But Youre No Wave are the two best FOB songs imo. Twin Skeletons might be my number 3

 

I don't like their post hiatus work but I also don't think their pre hiatus stuff is great either

 

Post-hiatus FOB makes me wish that whole band gets radiation poisoning.

 

Definitely can't agree there, haha. Then again, they soundtracked very formative years for me.

Folie a Deux is their best, and one of my favorites of all time. Ken and I at odds again tonight it seems...

 

I'll always love TTTYG for the once a summer listen it provides but I really stopped caring about that band once I branched out beyond pop punk and they changed their style. That sound was what they did best imo and I don't mean to limit or pigeonhole them, I'm glad they had bigger ambitions but the newer stuff just never resonated with me.

 

Post-hiatus FOB is fine...like, I'll listen to it and it's alright but w/e, hope they're happy

 

I use to think TTTYG was the only good FOB album now I realize it's all trash.

 

I really don't like their post hiatus direction at all and I'm always kind of surprised how many people are on board with it.

 

Yeah never been a fan but the newer stuff seems decidedly worse than the pre-hiatus stuff

 

Yeah I'm a big fan of FUCT through Folie A Deux (which I think is underrated), but everything I've heard since the reunion has been not very good, and honestly "Centuries" is probably one of the worst songs of the decade

 

like, im glad they found success and an audience and whatever, but nfl bumper music is extremely not my shit

I mean yeah I heard "centuries" like a million times while that stupid redneck football robot was on screen , just facts

 

Save Rock and Roll worked. AB/AP takes all the parts you overlooked on SR&R because it was so good and makes it their entire sound. Depressing
