Someone re-assure me because I think about it every time Kissi says something like this, she’s not referring to Kory from pdaddy when she talks about stuff like this and her past experiences, correct? As far as I know those two still have a good relationship/are friends?

 

As far as I know, Kory hasn't done anything abusive towards her that has been made public. She's referring to the dude from Dads primarily, but I don't think the other people referenced are Kory.

 

Like I always think about their sudden breakup and it’s honestly none of anyone’s business except theirs so it’s fine that we don’t know what went down there. It’s just hard not to think of that when she talks about stuff like this. But as recently as 2-3 months ago she was promoting pdaddy’s new music, so I’d like to think they are still on good terms.

I read this thread last night (in two or three sittings) and I couldn't believe how it just kept escalating.

My favourite (least favourite) part was the usual "oh there was nothing sexual or romantic until she turned 18," because that's exactly how it works , the exact day someone you've known for 5+ years turns 18, you suddenly see them completely differently, nothing weird here.

Also fucked that his ex was also clearly far younger than him.

How about when you were confronted by the survivor about Ciaran sexually assaulting them and you continued to take Ciaran on tour with Blink-182 before eventually kicking them out...

Also the fact that it took them months to address this still rubs me the wrong way. Why couldn't this statement have come out back in December?

Doesn’t look like that statement went up on any of their socials either which is strange. Seems like it was just for people on their mailing list. I feel like if you’ve been silent on allegations for months and finally release a statement you would want as many people to see it. Visibility is important when addressing allegations. I surely would not have seen that statement had it not been posted in here.

Literally no social distancing and no masks visible. Fuck MGK. Fuck artists who risk the public's health. This just sets such a bad example that we are in the clear now. Nope. Props to the artists who are doing the right thing and actually waiting until it's safe to play shows.

 

I would have agreed with this if the concert happened last summer or even a few months but tbh I disagree with this now. Everyone is able to get vaccinated now. Pretty much everyone I know has been vaccinated already or has upcoming appointments. Maybe it is a little too early for tours to happen but I honestly don't see a problem with concerts here and there happening if the state allows it.

 

vaccinations do not mean you should be in massive crowds with no masks. It’s still suggested that even if you are fully vaccinated that you remain in small groups and wear masks in public. This is a horrible take.

 

I would never ever ever judge something based on if it's socially acceptable in Florida

 

Also, just because everyone is eligible, doesn’t mean everyone has the means to get the vax at any given time. Even still, after 1 Pfizer or Moderna dose, you’re still not fully immune and can still potentially spread it possibly infecting someone immunocompromised.

 

has Ciaran always had his band’s tweets protected? seems weird to have a band with protected tweets unless maybe you sexually assaulted some people and don’t want to be held accountable. or his buddies in tfb warned him they would be making a statement

 

Just to clarify I do not agree that MGK should have had a full capacity concert with no social distancing and no masks wearing but I also don't agree with "Fuck this guy because he had a concert."

I just think that with things opening back up, it shouldn't be infuriating (at least imo) to see a full concert like that especially in Florida. I believe there are far more important topics to be discussed rather than bashing someone for having a concert. I don't care for MGK at all so my opinion is not biased towards him.

 

They've been privated at least since that longer account came out.
