Wow, monster hunter takes awhile to figure out. Is there any way to get rid of the gorey stuff in the settings?

I got Monster Hunter and made myself an old man. The character creator on this is crazy.

 

It is quite literally Donkey Kong Country for SNES. Doesn’t even try to hide it. Loving it so far.

 

I'm waiting for a sale, but it looks fun.

 

What level do you need to be before taking on the giant izuchi lizard thing?

 

you should be fine if you have crafted at least once. I was able to kill it with a low level long sword and a low level armor set

All aboard the hype train! But seriously, so fun. And some spots are incredibly difficult. It’s very funny how they just essentially remade DKC. Almost every mechanic is there, even collecting K A Z E tokens instead of K O N G haha

 

Never played the Crash games and was in the mood to try them out, 50% off the trilogy clinched it

 

Can you do multiplayer expedition tours?

 

You mean like upgrade your weapon and armor? Been trying to do that but apparently I need icium and there’s a bunch of giant izuchis in the frost islands haha ugh

 

You can! I just did one with someone.

 

I just clicked join via request and that worked, I guess that’s an open online multiplayer and anyone can join. It helped a lot, I got the icium to upgrade but it still took foreverrrr to slay azuros so welp lol now I have to figure out if forging armor is okay or you’re stuck with that kind of armor forever.

So, on monster hunter you can’t just join an ongoing expedition tour sometimes? It only lets me start one now and barely anyone joins, it sucks lol it let me join someone else’s the other day and there were at least a few people playing. I need a few more great izuchi things for the wind stuff so welp.
