Echo Tail album is superb emotional post rock, the veils, album leaf is a must listen and I'm interested in what de la soul is up to.

 

There was nothing I was particularly excited for but based on what everyone is saying I'll give Stay Gold a spin and I guess the Glass Animals record.

 

Most of the stuff I'm checking out this week has been mentioned already but Joshua Radin released a new single today titled "High and Low." It's pretty great if you've ever been into his work.

Lots of interesting releases today. Thug, De La Soul and Glass Animals are in the queue currently.

 

Stupid excited for the Dinosaur Pile-Up record, I've been really into their first two lately.

 

Did not know Apologies, I have none were putting out a new album. Thanks, can't wait to check it out.

 

New Tow Tongues track just got uploaded to spotify as a heads up for anyone interested. Got the notification but haven't heard it yet since I'm at work.

 

Her and Greg's albums are just heartbreaking. Definitely prefer her new one though, on just the first listen. Greg's latest didnt catch me like Landline did.

Yeah, I wasn't that into Greg's. His seemed very bitter in a way that wasn't too flattering. Hers was about the breakup, but she also lost her mom recently, so it's about that too.

 

You're spot on. His was so bitter, which is the raw emotion of expect from that situation. But it sounded really samey to me. The only tune that stood out to me was "Watch You Burn." It just seemed lazy (no pun intended) and it didn't have the same mix as Landline.

Yeah, Landline had some really good tracks. I've not generally been a fan of his, though. His voice is a little too limited to keep me interested for a full album.

 

That's not enough.

 

It'll have to be, there's not much summer left.

 

I'm still way behind on albums that have come out in the past two months (slowly making my way through Spotify and iTunes playlists...) but I'll eventually check out The Hunna, Butch Walker, Carly Rae, Mat Kerekes, and Vince Staples.
