Yep. I think it was around the 7th inning. I had the game on but was working and not really paying much attention when I hear Len go "And RX Bandits taking us into the break." So rad.

 

WAY less exciting than I was expecting haha. I thought maybe we'd get some smaller name player or something.

 

Rich Hill was fantastic tonight in his first start. It especially helped that he was able to do 6 innings and I bet if they wanted to push him to 7 they could have.

Kershaw / Maeda / Norris / Hill / Kazmir could be really nice going down this stretch.

 

Sanchez has more RBI, Doubles, and homeruns than Travis D'arnaud.....hahahahaha that's fucking hilarious

 

can the giants get their shit together so there's at least a possibility i get to see the marlins play in LA for the wild card game

Dodgers just traded Kershaw's personal catcher to the Phils for Carlos Ruiz. Considering how Kershaw has struggled in the past in the playoffs, is trading the one thing that he is comfortable with a smart move for the Dodgers?

 

I was just thinking about that when I got the notification. I mean we already knew Grandal was taking over the starting job thanks to his offensive upside being better but I think Kershaw numbers have been a lot better with Ellis.

Dodgers face off against two of the top 5 NL pitchers and they manage to do just fine.

They face off against Matt Moore and it's a no hitter.

That is amazing.

 

In 19 games Gary Sanchez apparently has a 1.9 WAR, according to a NY Post article. That's insane lol.

Feels karmic that Puig is tearing it up in AAA, and Reddick has been playing like a AAA player.

I don't know if there's been a more disappointing recent hire in professional sports than Friedman in LA. His front office has to be among the worst in baseball. They're winning games, but it seems to be in spite of the roster moves/managerial moves, not because of them.

 

Really happy with Moore's performance, but so bummed he didn't get the No-No.

That catch by Dyson during the Royals/Marlins game was incredible though

 

Jeremy Jeffress was arrested this morning for DWI.

Really wonder what the Rangers are gonna do. Not that he's the first player that this has happened to or anything.

Saw both of Bryant's HRs in person. My very first live Cubs game. Not bad at all.
