That this casual transphobia comes from someone who's actually part of the LGBTQIA+ community and has been performing at Pride events for years is even more disappointing, but I can't say I'm surprised at this point.

 

What a sad state we live in where an artist refuses to perform at a festival because he doesn't accept vaccinations as proof of entry.

 

Sigh...maybe one day enough people will call this festival out for booking a band with an abuser in it (Don Broco)

His “joke” about the Las Vegas country music festival shooting was awful and led me to realize he’s an awful person (I didn’t follow him much prior to that), and I know that’s just one of many shitty things he has said. How he’s still active in the punk scene I don’t understand.

 

Fat Mike is only punk to kids who think saying controversial stuff as a "joke" is edgy and punk

 

And yet, NOFX got booked to play Punk Rock Bowling again this year...

also kinda tired of seeing in these responses "i've always been an ally to _______" as a means to make yourself sound better. it's no better than if you were to say "i'm not racist i have so many black friends"
