My CBS All Access app didn’t even change lol, it just has all the Paramount+ content inside it now.

 

Mine did a re-branding update, but the app looks exactly the same. I was expecting it to all look totally new but whatever. Haha.

I'm so excited but also so nervous. Party Down had, while overall pretty understated, a really kind of beautiful ending and it honestly is gonna hurt me a bit if they fuck it up.

 

The way to do it is without Adam Scott and Lizzie Caplan as main cast members. Have a new catering crew, you can have some combination of Ken Marino, Megan Mullally Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen, but either premiere the season or end it with them doing catering for Adam Scott and/or Lizzie Caplan. Either their careers took off or they moved on to other things, either they got together or they didn’t, but those characters still being in catering 10 years later would be hard to pull off.

maybe they could be recurring, I wouldn’t even mind a season long will they/won’t they thing if their characters aren’t together at the start.

 

I'm okay with having the same show, same formula, and pretending that 10 years haven't passed because the show always felt like it was cut too short

 

I signed up Epix for “Saint Maud” - what a gnarly movie. Was surprisingly short, but I enjoyed it as much as one can.

Also watched “Spontaneous,” which was much better than I expected.

 

Watched "I Care A Lot" and liked it quite a bit. Very solid compared to other netflix films.

 

I've been hearing good things about that movie as well, guess I'll have to watch soon!

It's honestly offensive. It wears feminism and progressivism briefly as a costume to try and put their finger on the scale of audience sympathy. It's cheap and insincere.

 

I thought Dianne Wiest and Peter Dinklage gave very good performances, but the rest is bad with a genuinely baffling ending

 

I found all of these opinions to be true & would still recommend watching it if you got nothing else in the queue. There’s way worse out there.
