I will say that, although it wasn't confirmed, it did sort of look like Hex Vision could have also given Real Vision the memories of what happened in Westview. We'll see on that front though.

I hope the multiverse stuff plays out well, because after two fake outs this is starting to seem a little messy.

Mysterio - says he’s from a multiverse, lying.

Quicksilver - Just an actor? Yet same actor
From Fox X Men playing same role.

JJJ - same actor playing same role when it’s rumored Tobey and Andrew are in Spiderman 3.

I mean, the fakeouts are clearly over. Strange 2 is all about the multiverse, No Way Home is going to have multiverse elements, and Loki is literally an entire series about an alternate universe.

I’m genuinely shocked that people are treating famous illusionist, liar, & criminal Mysterio’s multiverse claims as a major fake out. That whole rollout felt so insultingly obvious to me that it made the Star Trek: Into Darkness stuff around Khan feel believable by comparison, lol.

I don't think anyone but the completely uninitiated was convinced that Mysterio was actually a good guy from the multiverse in Far From Home. Anyone even remotely familiar with Mysterio as a character knew he was faking it. It was only a twist for people who didn't already know who Mysterio is (as in, a significant portion of the moviegoing public who is only familiar with Marvel lore through the MCU). I never got the sense Sony was trying to pull a John Harrison with Mysterio, but I guess that's just me. I thought his ruse was pretty cool and made sense given that Endgame had just happened which culminated in a Thanos from an alternate reality travelling to this reality and staging a ground war against the Avengers in upstate New York.

    So assuming that this weekend...

I can't help but think a lot of people will dismiss the ending because they built up in their heads what they wanted it to be and then were upset when it was something different.

Yeah this is clearly happening a ton already, was totally expecting it. People get so wrapped up in what they write in their heads that they can't accept the story they actually wind up getting. And that's only fueled by all the manic YouTube theory videos that get made every week. I don't know how to fix this problem lol

A comment from Reddit that made me laugh:
Multiverse of madness is actually going to be a short film where Strange flicks through a book theorizing the possibility of a multiverse then puts the book away, looks directly into the camera and says "Glad that stuff isn't real lol"

I don’t love this show but it has been funny watching a lot of the same people who complain about Marvel properties only existing to set up the next thing, complaining when this show ends up being a mostly self-contained story that doesn’t set up anything bigger until maybe the credit scenes and asking what’s the point

I was referring to bringing over established Fox Universe X-Men characters (like Quiksilver), not the multiverse in general. I'm excited for them to start the multiverse stuff, which is why I'm happy they're not starting off this way. I want to see new characters and ideas /shrug

I'm trying to think of what we've got from this series that will be consequential going forward in the MCU (minus any mid/post-credits scenes). Photon/Spectrum and White Vision are the only two that I can come up with. It's otherwise inconsequential, in my opinion. It makes me wonder if Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be a struggle to figure out who takes up the Captain America mantle, just for it to finish with Sam/Falcon getting it, which is essentially where we left off with Endgame anyway.

I was wondering if they kept Hayward alive at the end to have him come back down the line later, running H.A.M.M.E.R. or something. Marvel's killed off so many villains that whenever one survives, I assume they're coming back lol

This show has been near perfect for me. A few mis-steps here and there (not X-Men Pietro, Aerospace engineer although I’m not that bothered now), but nothing that would ruin it.

A self contained story of someone with powers they don’t fully understand dealing with grief and depression and being manipulated because of it. Yes, it’s a superhero show. But that is a real issue that many people deal with in real life and I thought they did it very well. I have friends who suffer from depression and they mentioned how well the show dealt with it and portrayed it. With the obvious superhero caveat!

Now time to rewatch it all in one go!
