Yeah I really liked SOA

 

I love that the very first episode features a Murder By Death song. Thats about it.

 

Opie’s character arc is one of my favorites ever.

 

it was fine for two seasons. not great but not awful. it gets extremely fucking bad and gross to the point where it isn’t worth going to bat for tv that’s fine.

 

This discussion should be moved to the unpopular opinions thread. At least I hope it should be because SOA is pretty bad although I can see how it might be enjoyable as a guilty pleasure.

the person pretty plainly said they haven’t seen much of the show and want to, so idk why they would click spoiler tags in that instance, but okay

numerous instances of multiple guys beating women, a handful of instances of either implied or definitive rape of women, and a woman getting her head brutally stabbed by another woman using an ice pick watch whatever you want but i would rather not watch that, especially when it’s done in a non-talented by the numbers idiotic way

 

I'd put this season on par with the first though, so far at least. I'm on the birthday party episode right now, and there's been some realllly good ones in this season.

 

I saw the trailer for that show and thought it was one of the worst show trailers I have seen in recent memory, looked completely horrible

just flew through Sex Education over the past week. fantastic show.

 

Really enjoyed the Billie Eilish doc and I've never even listened to her

 

I watched a Lil Peep documentary a few months ago without ever hearing his music before and thought it was a pretty good little doc. I've heard a few Billie songs I like so I'm looking forward to checking out her new doc as well! Good to hear people are diggin it.

I had a friend recommend it a while ago and I don't know why I slept on it for so long. really happy to hear that a third season's coming out this year, and I hope they're given the opportunity to finish it off on their own terms. I feel like we rarely see a netflix show get more than four seasons anymore.
