Just watched Cecil Hotel.

My main thoughts are that I feel incredibly sorry for the family, the poor maintenance man who found Elisa, and for "Morbid". A really sad set of circumstances. Also I thought that the hotel manager came across really badly.


Lastly, in a documentary that touched on the Night Stalker, how was the creepiest thing in it an emotional man named John? That dude needs genuine help.

Late, but I too loathe Spongebob. My girlfriend and her family love it, and when I visit them with her, it’s just Spongebob and old Mickey cartoons on repeat, and it drives me insane.

 

Like every Nickelodeon show that has gone past 2 or 3 seasons, the post ~2000 stuff doesn't count

 

Finished Cecil Hotel last night. First 2 episodes were good, last 2 could've been condensed to like 30 minutes combined and it would've been better

 

Watched a movie called Other People on Netflix today. Jesse Plemons plays the lead, it’s a comedy/drama. Definitely recommend

 

I have a hard time calling movies that devastate me “comedies” but it is very good.

 

Yeah I can’t remember the last time I watched a movie that had me both laughing hysterically and crying hysterically within like 10 minutes of each other.

Anyone got any good docs on the dangers and stupidity of “web sleuths” because that is my biggest takeaway from this Cecil Hotel thing.

 

I can now see why people claim Six Feet Under’s finale as one of the all-time greatest. I’m still digesting but wow. WOW.

I watched three episodes of Ginny and Georgia last night and now I’m questioning if I’ve made a good decision ever in my life.

 

I know things out of context aren't good indicators but I'm not going to watch this haha

 

The Death of Dick Long was...interesting.

 

I didn’t even get to that part haha. It’s garbage but kind of entertaining. An acceptable background show.

 

This scene is even more confusing out of context when you discover that it was written by the two POC actors, a black man, and a black woman.
