Didn't blow me away but I definitely like it a lot. Cautiously optimistic about the album

 

I wonder if they'll ever stop writing songs at the upper range of his register, or if the screech is just part of the ... charm?

 

the Offspring discussion reminded me just how much the "Days Go By" song sounds SO MUCH like Foo Fighters' "Times Like These," even down to Dexter's "A new day rises above" lyric. lol

 

Holy shit, they are trying to sell the CD for 35 dollars haahhah

Totally pre-ordered the signed blue vinyl.

 

Dexter and Noodles are still ageing well which's good to see. Pete never looks older. New guy looks a bit like the dude from Train haha. Going to be so weird not seeing Greg K on stage with them!

Surprisingly good interview, considering it came from the NME, with Dex and Noodles looking back on the band's carreer

 

I seriously haven't stopped listening to the new song. They were my first favorite band and it's always cool to hear new tunes.

 

Been listening to Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace recently. Seems strange but I'd never listened to it as a full album. It's really solid and the lack of joke songs helps it stand up better overall than Splinter and Days Go By.

 

They sound surprisingly good in that video, considering some of Dexters performances over the past decade.

 

I’ve only seen The Offspring a couple times over the years, but they sounded pretty much spot on both times.

 

Damn yeah they actually do sound pretty good haha.

Of course people are telling them to stay out of politics or whatever bullshit, but there are plenty of fans pointing out that Dexter is actually an infectious disease expert with a PhD in biochemistry and it's AMAZING. This is the only time I'll ever suggest reading the comment section haha
