I think she most recently went by Spectrum? But Marvel seems to be pushing their Squadron Supreme and I could see that being a really fun series, and a character there is named (I believe) Dr. Spectrum so I wouldn't be surprised if they went with Photon for Monica just to cut down on any possible confusion.

Elizabeth Olsen, Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, & Kat Dennings are all delights in their own way as far as I’m concerned.

Anyways, another good episode. Not gonna repeat my recurring least favorite element, lol, but a lot here to love. This is probably the most I’ve loved Wanda so far; love how this episode leaned into that on the nose analogy for one’s life falling apart, in that comic-book-y way that in this genre just works. Monica passing through the barrier looked pretty cool. Not sure I needed or wanted such a blunt montage after the Agatha reveal, but at least I was able to focus on the silliness of it instead of the explain-y-ness. I’m looking forward to Agatha really getting to shine in the next episode(s).

 

Interesting that even though Vision seems to be mostly aware at this point, he still speaks and acts with much more emotion than we’ve ever seen him have.

 

I'm still hoping Emma Caulfield has a bigger part to play.

 

Did not expect Monica to get powers this quickly but I’m very very excited for it! Whole sequence was super cool!

 

Apparently someone leaked the entire plot of this episode 2 weeks ago on reddit and they also claimed Dr. Strange will be in the next episode

 

kathryn hahn is one of the more interesting actors around today, no hyperbole

 

yeah gonna echo Kathryn Hahn steals pretty much anything shes in including all the episodes of parks and rec even with that whole cast.

 

I actually fully expected him to be the one who is revealed at the end of this ep so this is now less a spoiler and now more just a “get me to next friday!!!”

 

she’s maybe the only good thing in the bad moms movies, not that i’ve seen one or both of those
