    I'm not sure how familiar people on here are with the AWK lore. But if anyone does want to jump into the deep end, the most amazing thing just became available - Andrew's journals from 20 years back where he seemingly plans out EVERYTHING that will eventually happen. It's also a possibility that this is a recent creation to make it seem like everything was planned out. Either way, I think it's one of the most incredible capsules of a truly one of a kind, bizarre and brilliant artist.

    Looking through this is mind boggling. Everything is so calculated. From reading only a handful of pages, it would appear he got the results he wanted. I'm speechless.

    oh my god, this is amazing. probably andrew's fullest sound since the wolf, and definitely his heaviest ever. the video is just completely bonkers. might be worth a new thread, i got the vinyl which announced a new album forthcoming.

    Album in september :/ Way too long.

    Also, it's not often that celebrity dating news is something I find interesting, but AWK and Kat Dennings is a legit shocker and also quite lovely.

    not sure if there's a thread but the new album is phenomenal, much better than you're not alone imo. it just sounds completely colossal in a way that very little music does. andrew's always been extremely steinman-esque but i would say this is the closest he has come to the bat out of hell 2 sound.
