I have a meeting on Tuesday with an artist to look at getting Bernie and Gritty sitting next to each other done this summer. Not sure where I want it placed though.

 

Interesting. I didn’t have any weird tattoo issues when I got either dose.

 

Got this done over the weekend and I’m super happy with it!

Can't recommend Nick enough. He's done a good chunk of work on me including my full chest piece and I love it all, all mostly custom stuff and two flash pieces. His style of trad is one of my favorites. Super high quality work and he works pretty damn fast too which is great.

How long would you give a place before calling or moving on entirely? I dropped off what I wanted with some color preferences on on Monday and they haven’t called me back yet to discuss or schedule. Not thrilled about the lack of customer service.

 

I emailed my guy in June, they emailed me back over Christmas break when I wanted to come in. So for me, personally, six months.

 

holy Christ that’s a long time. Do you live in a big city? I’m in a relatively small town and when I’ve had tattoos done in the past they’re usually pretty quick to at least get you scheduled. Six months is absurd imo

 

In Baltimore, but yeah, it was a weird situation. I think with COVID he just stopped working. I got an email in December saying he was opening up his calendar and if I was still interested.

 

I'm attempting to reach out about my next one atm but we're still in lockdown for a few more weeks so I don't know if they've got waiting lists or anything.

 

I need to get my hand touched up and finish up the last two spots on my right arm and I’ll be finally, fully double sleeved. Then I’ll be done.. right? Haha.

Y'all crazy for getting spring/summer tattoos. I like the sun too damn much to do that. I always get mine in fall/winter.

 

Does sun screen not help for new tattoos? Genuinely asking since I'm new to this
