    whoa whoa whoa whoaaaa

    yeah its really good.

The Spring Up and Boarding Pass both are solid EPs as well, dude's got talent.

Unfortunately, I never really came around to A Short Story About War. The lyrical content is certainly powerful but musically there isn't much to grab onto

Average White Band up today. Two songs in and this is exactly what I woke up wanting to hear

100%. I've heard songs here and there but somehow had never sat down with a full album. It's extremely my shit so shame on me

Been slogging my way through All Eyez On Me today. Its good but jesus no album needs to be over 2 hours long.

A lot of the old school tapes have so much filler. It’s what makes 36 Chambers or Illmatic stick out even more

  11. Really liked this one. I've somehow missed her completely while getting into a bunch of other artists she's worked with and influenced.

Next up in my pop music journey, Selena's "Dreaming Of You." I just hit play and I'm happy to announce that "I Could Fall in Love" is still a Certified BOP. It's also one of the only two songs I know from this album.

I should give Harvest another try, I remember it not really doing much for me

listened to Carpenters Now & Then today and found it pretty underwhelming, I was super intrigued that the whole second half of the album is a medley of cover songs but it came off as much more cheesy than pleasing to me, probably won't revisit it.

Re-visited Buckingham Nicks as well, which aged really well since my first listen, some underrated stuff on the album. Surprisingly solid instrumental tracks and some really nice melodies.

Have you heard any other Carpenters? Close to You is pretty damn good. Can’t speak to that one.

I've always struggled a bit with Neil Young because I don't really care for his voice. The songs and especially the band performances were strong enough here that I didn't find myself focusing all that much on his singing.

Excited to hear your thoughts on that one.

Today was a good one, shout to whoever wants to hear golden era hip hop with great production and no skips. 45min never went by so fast. (@Philll you picked the wronnnnnng 2Pac album to start with if you haven't listened to any full records of his.)

So far, in full I have listened to Now & Then, Horizon, A Kind of Hush and Passage. All were pretty plesant, but Passage is kinda wild. I'd suggest listening if you're interested, they get weirrdddd with electronics, long songs, and just overall things you wouldn't expect. I have their first 4 albums ready to go at some point as well, so I'll come back atcha when I get to Close to You

that's what it is for me to, his voice, which I think it a very common criticism, I'll try to pay more attention to the full picture next time around

Got Paid In Full coming up on my list, looking forward to it.

I didn't dislike 2pac at all, just hard to engage with a piece of work that bloated. Any others in particular you recommend?

Joni Mitchell - Blue today.....Growing up I pretty much avoided female artists so happy to go back to some more classics

Feel like there's been some backlash against this one in recent years just because of its colossal reputation, but it really is a superb album. Wall to wall classics.
