I would love a repress of ACBTLD but wouldn't that have to go through Island?

 

I can't think of anything they released that would be considered a "deep cut" either. They don't have a bunch of obscure EPs or something. The island vinyl releases for sure but...

I guess they can reissue the 15th anniversary of Waiting?

 

Maybe a reissue of Kill The House Lights since Victory has gone bankrupt? That probably finally gives them some freedom from the awful contract which tied up their Full Collapse era recordings (hence why we're almost certainly getting Signals 1 and 2 releases on a new label)

The leaked ACBTLD demos were never released and there was the Doves Club 7" as well which could use a proper release. Unless they've been sitting on another load of demos etc they want to put out there - I'd be fine with that haha.

 

I miss the giant 100+ song folder I had of demos/rarities/bootlegs.

 

Reissuing ACBLTD with the demos as bonus tracks (like how Armor for Sleep did for What To Do When You're Dead 15th) would be nice.

Victory's catalog being sold to a new owner is a good point. Probably how they got the rights to release those song's live recordings on a new label.

 

That doves club record was actually a 10” - but could definitely use a proper release.

 

Didn’t they have a split with envy too? Those songs could be on whatever rarity thing they put out.

 

Yeah, I don't know if it has ever been reissued, so they could be included as well.

One of their most underrated songs.

Yeah, I need to dig out my 2 copies of it and put them on eBay. Don't think I've ever even opened them up. Don't have a LP player. Bought the gold and silver both just to support the band.

I've appreciated how open Geoff has been about his struggles with addiction. Breaks my heart to know we could have lost him at any point if he had just gone deeper into it.
