My skills in this game fluctuate so heavily. Sometimes I have perfect recoil control (the most important thing in this game imo) for a whole match and then in the next match I don’t hit any of my shots. I don’t understand it.

 

There was a challenge last night for Sniping which I never care to use. Found a really nice set of stock, and a scope. On the new map it was pretty easy to spot peeps on certain high rises. Now I see why people snipe in this game. Though again I think it all comes down to the attachments.

I finished the seasons pass even though I did not play for probably three weeks total. The change (after the first tweak that is) didn’t hold me back after all and it really did made me occasionally switch up my play style.

 

I'm super exited for the new season, cant wait

I’m way better when I play with randoms than when I team up with someone. It’s some kind of weird performance anxiety I think.

My skills seem to vary wildly though. I think that’s their so-called SBMM.

 

I also was a guest on a podcast (about food waste - my life is boring) recently and listening to it makes me want to not force anyone to ever listen to me speak ever again

 

Haha no my man. Don't believe that for a minute. When you play solo you are matched with randos, when in squad you are mostly matched with other squads. Trust me I feel the same as you and unfortunately this is maybe the only game where the game/matchmaking 'punishes' you for playing with friends together.

Also yea the matchmaking algorithm doesn't really let you have much fun/win as it will put you together with preds etc when you are performing well. It is indeed the hated SBMM here.

 

My nephew and I also really suck at communicating though. When we play together we play like maniacs sometimes. It’s because for years we only used to play Battelfield games in hardcore mode. That really doesn’t prepare you for BR. I am excited for the Team Deathmatch mode though.
