Just started the first season. I thought I misheard them say "fuck" but then it kept going, and now I'm totally in. Haha.

 

I have a really bad feeling this is them trying to get him to host next year. Fucking kill me.

 

Watched Tax Collector last night. I'm not going to claim Ayer was ever a great director to begin with, but the drop in quality from Fury -> Suicide Squad -> Tax Collector is considerable imo. I only saw Fury once when it came out theaters, but I remember liking it a decent amount.

 

Fury is really, really good.

 

Tax Collector was probably the worst movie I saw last year.

edit: Forgot about Hillbilly Ellegy. It is also a contender.

 

My bottom 5 from last year were Artemis Fowl, Doolittle, Holidate, Trial of the Chicago 7 and Happiest Season.

desperados and the to all the boys sequel were the worst from last year

 

I liked the To All the Boys sequel, lol. Nothing amazing, but a pretty breezy, charming little watch.

Forget what the worst thing I saw was. New Mutants probably?

 

To All The Boys sequel took away everything I loved about the first movie, I’m cautious about the final movie. I’d have to go back through my Letterboxd but Artemis Fowl may be the worst thing I saw last year

 

Holidate was unpleasant so that would probably be my least favorite, I weirdly miss hating movies as much as loving them

 

I don't think I actively hate movies very often. I'm typically good at avoiding movies I know aren't for me. Excluding shitty horror movies, the movies I enjoyed least last year were probably Holidate and the Witches remake.

God Sam Levinson seems like such a fucking insufferable douche.

 

Saw this a few days ago as part of Sundance. It was really good, but not nearly as wild as you'd think. I'm looking forward to Willy's Wonderland (another Cage movie) coming out next week.
