They fixed your brain when you were young.

I ended up listening to it a couple times in a row yesterday! They were a semi-local band for me, so I saw them so much. So lots of nostalgia on that record for me.

The guitar player from Far Less (Jordan) eventually joined House of Fools as their bassist (yet another band Drive Thru fucked over who absolutely deserve to be in this thread as well)

House of Fools were a phenomenal band. Live & Learn is fucking great and the follow up was great as well.

And they're even better live! They still play holiday shows here every few years and a few of the members have put out solo projects. Josh (the singer) put out an EP last year and said in an interview with a local paper that they're working on the next HOF record so fingers crossed

I listened to some of his solo stuff, wasn't HUGE on it but it's nice. New HOF would be really cool though.

    That's interesting. I don't think I've ever heard this band...will check out!

Anyone ever listen to A? Hi-Fi Serious is a pretty solid album, but nothing else ever really hit the same highs. They are forever at the top of my iTunes library though haha.

  9. Really dug "Nothing" off that album back when it was released but only ever checked out a few other singles from them. Hard band to Google.

Not sure if this has been posted already here but boy I do miss The Myriad:
(I think they could have been big but you know life sometimes intervenes)

Well the band changed their name to Kidnap Kings, (Tbh terrible name change for a band) and released an album under their new name: Flashing Lights and Sound. It's a pretty solid record, but the band vanished after that as well.

I saw them open for Eisley at the HOB in San Diego in like 2007. Great band.

    People may remember this song

but I was always a big fan of this album cut

I used to listen to that album a fair amount, but don't really remember much of it anymore

  18. I loved this band. Actually revisited this album not too long ago and it held up much better than I expected. I remember thinking they were going to blow up when they released Head for the Door. Just one huge radio rock chorus after another on that album.

House of Fools got me remembering that band House of Heroes that put out one incredible album and then no others

That's a really strangely wrong statement. The End Is Not The End is a great album, but Cold Hard Want is fucking great, Colors is awesome, the Smoke EP is great

Inertia was my favorite song of that album, the follow up album had a solid hit with Tired Of You. Didn’t hear much after that.

I bought The Myriad's album off of EMusic when it was available on there. EMusic's catalog was always changing so I eventually got out of it. For a while it helped me find A LOT of really cool stuff!

ANYWAY...I bought The Myriad's record. But there were glitches all over the downloaded files and a missing song. I emailed EMusic, they said to download again and if it's still in the file then that's what the label sent over so they couldn't do anything about it. Glitches were still there. Missing song still...wasn't...there. So I contacted EVERYONE any way I could. Band, label, band personal social media accounts...NO ONE WOULD HELP ME!

I was just a fan who bought something, had proof of it, and wanted to get a usable version what I bought. Instead, I've never heard the whole album.

Oh another good one is States. Mindy White from Lydia started the band with members from Copeland. Always liked them.
