Agreed. My inbox is always open, even if it's not a thread I appear to be participating in.

 

I think part of it is that, there are a lot of off-color jokes in here and often folks feel as though they're "ruining fun" for regulars, so they simply opt out, which is fucked up. I'm not saying we need to censor ourselves, but we should be cognizant of what we are saying in terms of whether it objectifies and/or diminishes a particular group.

 

I would like to think I'd never post anything that would make anyone uncomfortable or anything disgusting, objectifying, etc, but I understand that's probably not the case and I have at some point in this thread, so a retroactive apology if I have. I'd like to be called out for my shitty-ness if I ever do.

One of the things that I've appreciated in this thread and the Dating thread is that, for the most part, most everyone has been encouraging, positive, and supportive in everyone's successes, failures, and hardships when it comes to dating, relationships, sex, etc. I'm sorry that there have been others who haven't felt that way and I hope we can work towards fixing that.
