An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

yeah I'm kinda bummed he didn't finish that (yet). could've been better than "Come Along", that chorus is killer

Glad they are wanting to finish and release this one, it has a ton of fucking potential – really great songwriting.

That song musically reminds me a lot of old Underoath, a mix I never thought I'd hear. The dual vocals is interesting too, looking forward to hearing a finished version.

I think all of these songs have become some of my favorites by the band with the exception of maybe Come Down. But I've had this on repeat moreso than I ever did mother nature which I also liked.

Has anyone received their vinyl yet? I received a shipping confirmation email 6 days ago, although when I look up the tracking number it says it's still in pre-shipment.

I dig that falsetto on the Come Down chorus.

I thought the vocals were so great. I hope they drop that live vocal warbly effect on live in Baltimore completely going forward. He sounds so so great raw dog lol

He does. I think sometimes he pushes himself live too much into the, not screaming, but that kind of vocal range, when his chilled out vocals from Mother Nature and the latest EP are fantastic.

New album 2021. That will be 4 years straight a release every year. Rage against the machine released barely 3 albums in 1 decade lol. Our boys are crushing it.

strange decision to compare them to Rage, but ok.

Wasn't about the style. Tool. Metallica. Just saying modern bands tend to space out albums way more than tds. From what I've seen

It's cool they are a band that puts out stuff every year. So does DGD. I'm glad they aren't The Hotelier, who won't release a new album until the Revolution is over.

Lol. Well I meant modern as in the past 25 years. The Beatles and led zeppelin. Rolling stones. Those bands put out an album once a year. Sometimes 2 a year. Then the trend changed to an album every 2. Then every 3-5. TDS are bucking that trend.

Could it be that now they are independent they are making more money off streaming/sales than they normally would, so don't have to rely on touring? Obviously touring is quite difficult now as well, so more songs on Spotify, more songs to make some pennies.

That's why the cycles changes from the Stones/Beatles time isn't it? Money from touring became more, so they toured more, recorded new music less often.

Edit: Also, they love creating, not saying it's all about the money!!

    Things have changed.

Well those bands can put out a record and then tour it around the world for like 3 years. The demand is there for the live show such that they don't need to pump out records. Bands of TDS' size need new music regularly so they have a reason to tour.
