Wilson is Patrick Mahomes-lite. I think its irresponsible for the 49ers not to trade the farm for him. He would fit perfectly with Yung Shanny

Justin Fields still reminds me a lot of Deshaun Watson haha. Might not even be a “lite” version.

The thing with Fields is I'm not sure he processes the game fast enough

I hate the comparison because its the same school but it kind of reminds me of Haskins

 

I think with the right coaching (Jeaux Brady) he would be good. Though trading down and getting Zach Wilson is certainly enticing

Assuming the top 3 goes Lawrence, Fields, Sewell....my preferences as of now for Panthers look like

Justin Fields is undraftable while Herbert, Allen, and Baker were all top ten picks lol. Thought we'd have learned not to do this shit after Lamar but guess not.

Jets are a hellscape and should probably go the Miami dolphins route of trading down.

 

So now if you’re the Jets does having Darnold seem more attractive than Fields? Lawrence was a no-brainer but now the convo changes a bit.

 

Fields > Darnold but you need to give him SOMETHING.

 

Right my point is I guess...is fields+nothing a better situation than Darnold and Sewell?

 

Justin Fields is not better than Sam Darnold.

 

I’d rather take Sewell or Chase at 2, BPA with the Seahawks first, and then best available QB at 33
to compete with Darnold.

I think if I can’t have Lawrence, this is the route I’d go too. Maybe trade down from 2 if Chase is your plan but not that far.

 

Trading down is a lot easier said than done
