I want to scream “WHOA GODDAMN” with 100k people at a Taylor Swift concert so bad

What a record. Love all the country vibes on this one. Need lots of more listens.

Also DID NOT have Taylor Swift singing over a 5/4 pattern for shit to expect this year. Loved that one.

Fuck, this album is going to wreck me throughout this depressing holiday season. Just exactly the wintertime downer I need right now.

Ivy is one of most infectious things I've heard in a long time.

Her and Justin hitting that "god damn" melts me

Tbh there are some vibes here that are pure RED. imo the closest thing she’s done to Red since. (Well maybe 1989)

It might be recency effect, but I think I like this just slightly more than folklore, but both are clearly gold.

It's definitely closer to Red than anything since.

Tis the damn season, Coney Island, and Evermore are my standouts after one listen. No body is the only one that didn’t click, hoping that changes with more listens

Driving has definitely become a "hobby" of mine in the last 2-3 months for sake of sanity. I broke in the new Fleet Foxes by driving around Pittsburgh and learning the belt system. It was great to cruise around during early fall with the windows slightly cracked.

“cowboy like me” could have absolutely been on Red

Happiness has some of her best ever lines. Ever.

That’s what I was listening to when I typed that lol. And then “Long Story Short” came on and I went yep.

This album may be better for me simply because she lets loose with the goddamns, f-bombs, etc. It's so damn nice

Nice, yeah I think that's a great way to break in a new piece of music. I've done the same for the last three 1975 albums; really allows your head to wonder and get lost in the music, while your brain is on autopilot while you drive

Definitely wish there were a few more Jack songs. Aaron made some really lush musical beds here (more so than folklore, even!) but I think Jack just has built up a really great understanding of how to match Taylor’s songwriting style with builds and flourishes that take them to a new level every single time.

We reach for the longest shadow

My initial listen was much better here than folklore. Not to say that makes it better. As others have said, I had a better idea of what to expect. This feels much more emotionally wrecking than folklore. Title track is absolutely unreal, and if this is the end of this era of music for her (who knows at this point) then it's the perfect send off, and is a much better closer than Hoax. Justin freaked on it, for real. I like No Body, No Crime, I guess that's the controversial one this go 'round.

Wonder if country radio will have the balls to play "No Body, No Crime." Probably not.

Just realized “No Body, No Problems” is a play on “Mo Money, Mo Problems”

    I’m very dumb
