Re: Biden's cabinet picks. I'm also underwhelmed, but not surprised, these are pretty much what I expected. The most disappointing part is the apparent kowtowing to R's in the Senate to get his picks confirmed.

I do, however, think it's important to remember just how much damage the Trump administration did inside of these departments (especially departments like State) to effectively dismantle them and make them ineffective and how much work it's going to take just to rebuild those and get them up and running again.
