Like the only Oscar film of the past ten years I just could not bring myself to watch. Even Green Book and BoRhap I got through.

 

Not to sound too autocratic, but that is the problem in our western countries when something is just recommend but not forbidden.

For example, i live in southern Germany, close to the alps. The little hiker villages are so overcrowded on the weekends rn, because, while it is recommeded to not be around people rn, hiking is not forbidden. A lot of people who, when u ask them, even Support covid Restrictions, go, becauw everyone then finds the perfect explanation why it is ok FOR THEM to go hiking.

Not sure if i made my point clear..: people compartmentalize, like "i support covid restrictions, but it is totally ok or necessary THAT I GO OUT NOW"

I’m imagining these right wing grifters posting about how they’re going to have a big massive thanksgiving to own the libs and rebel against the government texting a bunch of family who don’t want to come and struggling to book enough guests for a big enough Instagram post to really get the engagement they need.
