I took a COVID test on Monday because my dad has the virus and I have been around him a bunch and I still have not gotten my results back. I’m starting to feel more symptoms so I’m pretty sure I have it. It’s just crazy how long it can take to get results that aren’t the rapid. I imagine people get tested and then go about their normal lives without waiting for the results, especially when they take so long, which is crazy.

I think about this story a lot.

In my opinion, this story and really the lack of anyone really talking about it, serves as a prime example of how effective the donald trump / steve bannon strategy of flood the zone with shit truly is.

trump now has the very people who yell about the government leaving them alone and letting them live their lives actually excited about the government committing an extrajudicial murder of a US citizen on our soil. And there is SO MUCH BULLSHIT going on at the same time that even though there are / were plenty of people who were horrified by what happened the whole thing kinda just gets lost in the shuffle.

I can't decide if our news outlets and journalists were under-prepared for trump and the way he operates or if they like things this way.
