Chamberlain is working on a new album produced by Carl Broemel from My Morning Jacket.

First single: stream Chamberlain's first new song in 9 years, "Some Other Sky"

Sounds like a more modern take on The Moon My Saddle and I'm very excited.

Hell yeah! Never got super into Chamberlain but I love the song and I'm stoked on this. Always thought they sounded like midwest-emo meets Lucero, which is perfect.

 

Yeah!!! Great comparison and pretty much spot on and Carl Broemel from My Morning Jacket produced and the teaser videos on the fundraiser and the Facebook live song David played was really sparse and desolate but his vocals are so imaginative and uplifting his voice is!

 

Really digging this album!

 

This starts out a little slow but really picks up at the title track. Big Wallflowers vibes all around.
