I agree with what you are saying per the rules. What I am saying is that if a sign and trade is agreed upon and reported days before talks were supposed to begin, there is no deniability. In the case of AD for example, him saying he wants to go to the Lakers does not prove they spoke. We all know that they did, but there is deniability.
