I mean, don't get me wrong, AEW ain't perfect. Plenty of stuff to improve: women's division, more promos, I'd LOVE for them to be a bit more serious here and there, I am not a fan of the young bucks' promos, etc.

But it is still sooo much more entertaining than WWE's products. And it is still so young, so I give them leeway on a lot of stuff. A little over a year of weekly television is basically nothing, so there's still plenty of time to develop.

 

I haven’t watched anything of WWE for like 18 months now.

There’s a lot of things that suck in AEW but there’s a lot of good to great in it.

 

Even the Alexa and Bray thing is lame which seems like it wouldn’t be on paper. She’s always had a Quinn vibe to some degree anyway, but then just go and be so on the nose about it... I’m surprised she’s not calling him “Mr. Bray”.

Man I hope crowds are back by the time Becky returns. Gonna be fucking massive. Doubting that happens anytime in the near future though lol

 

It hit me around WM time that basically everything I had liked in the last 4-5 years (aside from NXT) was complete luck.

- Dean Ambrose winning MITB and cashing in and his SD run; all cause Roman popped a drug test
- Jeri-KO, all because Finn got hurt
- Becky headlining WM, because she forced it
- Kofimania because Ali got hurt
- Even Shane returning for WM32 was because they had SOOOO many injuries.

And almost all of those got ruined by Goldberg or Brock in some way. And their one true creative success (The Fiend) they managed to ruin at HIAC AND with a Goldberg match.

There was just no joy in watching it before the crowds went away; and without them, it got bleak.

It’s funny but sad seeing how amazing they look here and then comparing it to the 2k games

 

Kenny defeats Mox for the title on Dynamite. His music is playing as he celebrates in the ring. Music stops and lights go out. Lights come back up and the god of this fucking shit is the ring and just obliterates a light tube over his head. BOOM. There's your Revolution main event.

 

I hope Kenny's first feud will be either Mr. Brody Lee (where has he been lately btw?) or Lance Archer. THEN a good, brutal feud with Miro, before being dethroned by Adam Page.

 

It’s hilarious to me that the New Day are going to be playable characters in a very popular video game series, and therefore there may be young people who like them so much that they decide to check them out on WWE programming, only to learn that they are no longer together as a group.
