Well it’s very much on brand for Trump to go and blow other people’s money on losing ideas.

 

Watch Republicans come out forcefully against debt cancellation and moderate Dems hedge until the policy goes the way of other policies (GND, M4A) which are popular but set on the shelf because Dems are useless.

I feel you. We typically get groceries delivered or do curbside pickup.

My job technically considers me as an essential worker, but we haven’t done any face to face stuff with clients since the lockdown happened. Now all of sudden they want us to start doing face to face stuff. I told my supervisor and regional director how reckless that is right now, especially with cases going through the roof. All they could say was “this is what HQ wants us to do”. We have been operating just fine, and better, since this started. It will be interesting how they accommodate us moving forward. Especially for those at high risk or live with someone who is high risk.

My wife is 6 and a half months pregnant, so that worries me too. She also goes in to work everyday (at a veterinary hospital) but they don’t allow people inside and the doctors meet people/owners outside after the pet appointment.

We try our best to limit unnecessary exposure. That’s all anyone can really do. Everything is just so fucked.

 

Someone at my part time job tested positive. Cool.

Didn’t he just call out John Bolton for wanting to start wars? One of Trump’s only redeeming qualities (a truly cursed sentence) relative to past presidents has been his reticence to start big armed conflicts abroad.

Just spoke at our board meeting again. I was first to speak this time. Apparently everyone was very happy in the teacher social media group in our state hah

 

Well, that escalated predictably.

 

Our government/leadership should be facing jail time for negligence of the American people. We are just so fucked because nobody does their fucking job or they won’t allow the decent ones to do their jobs while they continue to blow smoke up everyone’s ass as we sit and wait for something good to happen.

Then we have people just not giving a shit about anything, which is their (wrong) decision, but also a reflection of poor and non-existent leadership.

I continue to wonder why twitter doesn't ban Trump. Legit, every tweet of his is disputed/flagged. In college I got banned from Wikipedia for 24 hours for drunkenly deleting Lindsey Lohan’s Wiki page for fun, but Trump won’t get banned for persistently claiming he won the election and that there was fraud.
