I’d love for WI to do SOMETHING. ANYTHING. but every move our governor makes is opposed by our republican legislature than hasn’t met since April.

I don't agree with indoor dining, I certainly won't do it. Outdoors is probably safe but even then, I won't do it. I'm perfectly content with takeout. But if the government is going to say restaurants can be open, I'm not going to ridicule people who go there and help the business because they simply wouldn't survive without it. If they go there because they think the virus isn't serious and just want to go on with life as normal, then I can ridicule them.

I work at a pizza place that does takeout on the weekend, but I don't really leave my house at all during the week. I'm too busy with school and studying during the week to go anywhere anyway lol. I usually have my one friend come over on Saturday nights and we play games and have some drinks with my parents (should I be ridiculed for that? I don't think so).

Yeah, he's never going to concede. He will leave office but continue to talk about how it was stolen from him by the democrats and the media.

 

There seems to be a general hypothesis that he’s going to announce his 2024 candidacy pretty much as soon as Biden takes office. But I’m not sure how well that would work when you are messaging to your base that an election was rigged and stolen. Kinda reduces their belief in voting right?

And if he ‘abandons his post’ I will lose my shit on every Facebook post I see claiming “So honorable. Standing up against the rigged election” or “Who can blame him? No president was treated so badly!”

Being a TERF fulfills multiple conservative fantasies, they can pretend that the LGBT agenda is leading their kids astray, then pretend that they're being censored and are the real victims when they bravely speak out in half formed bigotry.
