So so so excited

 

been listening to "epoch" bands all day in prep, and golly gee do i love all these bands so much. That 2nd bellows LP is just unbelievable

 

Bellows is so so good

 

only two songs in and.... fuck.

 

That bit in Family Still around 3 minutes in where the tempo picks up, though.

 

The production on this immaculate. The acoustic guitars on this just sound unbelievably good

 

Stoked to listen to this later!

A Guide to Told Slant’s Point The Flashlight and Walk

 

Okay Felix just slide right in near the end of 2020 with one of the best albums...I see you.

 

So good. I feel like it’s the first time we’ve heard Felix... sing out? Like full, indie radio voice, in a very good way.

 

Hard to say for sure because it’s been such a strong year, but after two listens this feels like my album of the year

 

This is easily the best Felix has ever sounded

 

This is truly incredible stuff. I love this so much

 

Yup, just unbelievably good. Quite a bit I didn't expect from Felix too ("Bullfrog Choirs" and "Flashlight On"!). Think "Run Around the School" might be my favourite Told Slant song at this point, but it's hard to put against the Still the Water and Going By tracks that I've had a huge connection with for longer.

 

I totally feel this but after spending a few days with it I think it’s clearly the best Told Slant album. I love it more with each listen

 

this might be my favorite sounding album from a production standpoint since jay som’s anak ko

This is so good. “Flashlight On” really knocked me out. It feels so specific to some of my own early high school memories.
